![]() atm i think the original interlaced display is better than this mess, but i have to compare more. sadly, oretachi gesenzoku sonic wings shows exactly the same behaviour. also, apparently filtering was used to mess up the pixels. i cannot put in into words, but the games do show interlace flickering with a somewhat low-res look on the graphics. i'm no technician, but it looks to me that the display i a strange mix of low res graphics and interlacing (if that is even possible). Psikyo shooting 2&3 (ntsc-j) do load after patching, but look even weirder. terra cresta has especially weird filtering. of the games i patched, only thunder cross and rabio lepus do look acceptable to me. all games do load up, but as in the gunbird collection, even if properly de-interlaced, they show more or less filtering-artifacts. here also, only the second code is in the files, and changing that yields different results. The oretachi gesenzoku games are a mixed bag. btw, from hdd the loading pause before bosses is acceptable. afair you need to edit only the second code, because the first one is not in the. there seems to be a little filtering of the original resolution, so it's not pixel perfect low res. still not as crisp as the dc version, but at least the interlacing is gone. ![]() Gunbird 1&2 (ntsc-j) on the other hand works fine. Taito memories I & II (ntsc-j) do not work. ![]() ![]() I recently got my hands on a network-adapter and hdd for my ps2 and tried to patch some games. ![]()
